Complete Flat Towing Setup For A 2022 Ford Ranger With Roadmaster Base Plates & A Blue Ox Tow Bar
Question:
I have a 2022 Ford Ranger with a RM-524459-5 baseplate and we recently bought a motorhome with a Blue Ox BX7380 tow bar. Is there any reason I should consider changing one or the other instead of purchasing a RO64FR adapter kit?

It's up to you entirely however, it's much easier to just use the adapter # RO64FR so you can use your Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380 with your Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-524459-5.
If you don't want to use an adapter, you can use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU77XR which will connect directly to your Blue Ox # BX7380 tow bars.
Finally, if you need a complete setup as well, you'll also need:
- A braking system # RM-9060, with a brake light relay # RM-88400, and a custom seat adapter # RM-88349.
&
- A wiring kit # RM-152-98146-7.
