On your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4, the Firestone Ride-Rite system, # F2299, will install to the side and bottom of the jounce bumper brace as noted in the instructions which I have linked to the right. Drilling is not mentioned in the instructions. If the under bed brackets on your 5th wheel installation kit install on the outside of the frame and not in the same location as any part of the Firestone system then they can fit together.
You do not have to add anything else to the Firestone system. However as it comes, you will have to use your own compressor or use one at a gas station to fill the air bags. In order to be able to add/remove air from the comfort of the cab of the truck you can use a Level Command kit, # F2097, which will fill both bags at the same time. Or Level Command II, # F2219, which will allow you to add/remove air from each bag individually.
I have included some FAQ links on Firestone systems for you.
