Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2006 Ford F-150
Question:
I have a 2006 f150 4x4 . Its a heavy 1/2 ton with the 410 gear ratio rear end. I was wondering if I should get the 6000 or the 7000 lb modle of this timbren suspension enhancement. Thanks

For a standard 2006 Ford F-150 you want the 6,000 lb Timbren Set # TFR150D. The 7,000 lb Set # TFRTT150D is a Severe Service kit and is designed for vehicles that will have a pretty constant heavy load like if you use a slide-in camper or salt spreader frequently - or even if you used your truck with a crane or aerial device like what you see with a tow truck.
Attached is an installation video of the 6K Timbren kit being installed on a 2004 F-150 for you to check out.
