Aluminum Ball Mount Options for a 2014 Mercedes 350 BlueTec
Question:
2014 GL350 BlueTec max towing weight 7500lbs 600 tongue. Ill be towing a 6200lb boat. Id like to get a solid alum hitch. The Max distance in owners manual from pin to center is 7.5. 2inch max from top of 2X2 hole.. Im looking at a very good quality hitch and preferable a flush mounted pin and lock. dont want anything sticking out sides of receiver as ther is limited room to attach hooks from trailer. Thanks

I have two ball mount options that fit almost all of the specifications that you listed.
The closest thing that we have is the Flash Self-Locking Aluminum Ball Mount, # DTLBM9200. This ball mount has a GTW capacity of 10,000 lbs, a TW capacity of 1,000 lbs, a drop of 2 inches, rise of 1 inch and it has the flush locking pins giving you the maximum amount of space for the tow chains. The part of this ball mount that does not fall within your specifications is the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, which is 8-1/4 inches on this ball mount.
