How to Install the Prodigy RF Brake Controller
Question:
Im interested in the Prodigy RF brake controller, but Im not thrilled about the idea of drilling holes in the trailer frame. Is there a different method of installation that dont involve drilling? Thanks!

The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller w/ Bluetooth item # TK94FR has to be securely mounted to your trailers coupler with screws. The Prodigy RF connects to your vehicles 7-way so there aren't really any alternatives to attaching it to your trailer's frame. I do not recommend using zip ties because of the potential for them to brake while you're going down the road. The Prodigy RF weighs 5 lbs and would eventually brake those zip ties.
The Prodigy RF must be mounted within ± 5 degrees of level on the horizontal plane and must be lined up so that the power cable extends toward the tow vehicle for the internal sensor to function properly.
