Troubleshooting Faulty 7 Way Wiring On A 2012 Ford F250
Question:
Horse trailer interior lights do not come on when hooked to a 2012 F250 with 7 way connector plug. Horse trailer is brand new. All outside lights and turn signals work. Which fuse do I need to check or replace on the truck?

On your 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty you will want to start by checking your fuses. When using your vehicle's manual you can verify which fuses are tied to your seven way plug, based on my research you should check the following fuses 13, 14, 15, 30, 31, and 35. These fuses are located in the passenger compartment near the floorboard, in the power distribution.
After checking all the fuses you will need to use The Hook Probe Circuit Tester Kit # PTW2993. Starting at the rear of your vehicle, work forward checking the wires and make sure that they're in working order.
The last thing you could do is unplug, and then clean and check the poles and wires of the 7-way plug and 4-way connectors. There is a chance that they could have come loose from normal use or dirt.
