Troubleshooting Lever on Gooseneck Pulling Out After Tightening Draw Down Bolt on B&W Companion

When I torque the bolt to 80 psi my lever on the gooseneck still pulls out

I reached out to B&W and it sounds like you do not have the latch going through the socket adjuster on your Companion # BWRVK3400. Pull the gooseneck handle out like you are going to take the companion out of the truck, verify the socket adjuster is still in the center of the post on the companion hitch, and if it is, loosen the draw down bolt so the socket adjuster will lower down.
