Recommended Ladder Rack That Fits Elevate T-Slot Rails on 2013 For F-250

Question:

Hi there I’m currently in the market for a truck rack that works with elevates t slot rail system. I seen that one of your guys recommended the Yakima rack over the elevate rack. I’m curious as to why? I’m just trying to find the best rack I can get that will work with the elevate t slot rails. Thanks

The TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System - 18" or 28" - Aluminum would be a great choice for your 2013 Ford F-250. The main reason you saw a Yakima recommendation like the # Y01151-58 is due to the fact that we did not offer the Elevate rack at the time. This was a solution to provide an alternative option with something we had available.

For a quick comparison, the racks have the same on-road capacity of 500 lbs. The Yakima has a 300 lb capacity off-road compared to the 250 lb capacity of the Elevate. Both have an aluminum construction and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

The Yakima does have some extra features like the Same Key System lock cores to keep your rack secure and built-in tie-down points on the uprights and crossbar endcaps. Another feature is the QuickChange system for easy installation and removal. Also, the Elevate has a height of either 18" or 28" while the Yakima is fully adjustable from 19" to 30".

If you have a 6-3/4' bed you need the # TX46NV and for an 8' bed the correct rack is the # TX66NV. If you already have the rails and just need the rack then the correct part would be the Telescoping Rack for TruXedo Elevate Rack System - 18" to 28" - Aluminum # TX84NV.

If you would prefer the additional adjustability and features of the Yakima, the # Y01151-58 comes with 68" crossbars or the # Y01151-59 with 78" crossbars is also available. You would also need the adapter # Y01155 to fit the TS rails.
