Bike Rack Recommendation for e-bikes with Front and Rear Fenders

Question:

I have fenders on my two Scott E-bikes. Will the Thule T2 Pro XTR rack work for me? If not, what happens if I strap down my front wheel to the front cradle? Will that work? If not, what other racks will you recommend for E-Bikes with front and rear fenders? Thank you.

While the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH83JV is a great bike rack, since your Scott e-bikes have the front fenders you'll either need to remove them to use the rack or we'll need to look into another bike rack. The reason why it isn't wise to use that ratcheting hook for the rear tire is because the front tire is able to rotate for steering so it is more likely to move around when going over any bumps while you're traveling.

As an alternative I recommend checking out the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR which uses clamps to secure your e-bikes by the frame instead of the wheels. This rack can handle up to 70 lb bikes and comes with a ramp to help make it easier to load your bikes.

Attached are some review videos for you to check out.
