Why Does Electric Jack w/ Footplate and 7-Way Plug # EJ-3527-BBX Come with 7-Way
Question:
Is there any way to power the electric jack with the same 7 way male plug that powers the trailer? Would a junction box work? It would eliminate the need to carry a separate cord.

Expert Reply:
The Electric Jack w/ Footplate and 7-Way Plug # EJ-3527-BBX has a 7-way for powering the jack and was designed to plug into your vehicle 7-way when needed to raise and lower and then when you go to tow you'd plug your trailer 7-way back in. We have a similar jack that was designed to hardwire to the trailer wiring with the part # EJ-3520-BBX.
