While we do have a solution for you, the etrailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # e98ZR is not compatible with 8-lug pattern wheels on your 2004 Ford F-350 dually. This is because the # e98ZR can only support wheels that have 6 lugs or less.

For a great alternative, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # c31006. Not only does this carrier fit wheels with an 8-lug pattern, the weight capacity defers to the maximum tongue weight rating of your hitch. It also has a much longer shank that measures 9-1/2" from the furthest pinhole to the upright. With this length, you do not have to worry about interfering with your bumper. It is important to note that mounting hardware is not included with the carrier. For a locking hitch pin to protect the carrier from theft, that is the # e98880.

I went ahead and attached a photo of the # c31006 being used with a 8-lug wheel.
