Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For A 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Towing A 6K Trailer
Question:
Looking for recommendation for a weight distribution hitch with sway control. I have 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 hemi, and a Coleman 2021 Coleman BH dry weight 4789, payload 2811, 582 tongue weight. I currently have a EAZ Lift w/800 lb bars and sway control bar, and I feel like its not towing properly. Could you recommend some options on a better weight distribution hitch the does not have chains?

When it comes to installing a weight distribution hitch on your 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn I recommend The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 pounds GTW, 800 pounds TW # FA92-00-0800.
When using a weight distribution hitch it's best to be as close to the tongue weight as possible. Being over or being under the tongue weight while using a weight distribution system can be dangerous and cause more sway. The Fastway distribution system has a tongue weight rating between 400 pounds to 800 pounds and has a gross towing weight up to 8,000 pounds.
The system has a no-drill clamp-on bracket system that can be adjusted along the trailer frame. It has a powder coated steel construction which is durable and corrosion resistant. Everything is included in this hitch but The 2-5/16 inch Hitch Ball - 1-1/4 inch Diameter x 2-3/4 inch Long Shank - Chrome - 12,000 pounds # 19286 and The 1-7/8 inch Thin walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 which will make the hitch ball installation easier.
