Location of the Brake Output Wire in the Bundle at the Rear of a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

I am trying to locate the wire under the back of my truck to connect the electric brake. I do not find a blue wire as indicated on the 6 prong plug

The wire is usually blue, but not always. So since you are having a hard time finding it I would recommend you use a circuit tester like part # 3808 and test the wires for voltage when the brake controller is activated and use that wire.
