Mounting Hole Spacing Of The JR Products T-Style Hook and Keeper Door Holder # 37210525

Question:

Hi, I have a Wells Cargo Road Force enclosed trailer, and I need to replace the side door holder. I need to know more about the bolt spacing on the 37210525 part. Is there a standard hole spacing that most all trailers use or are they all different? The screws on my trailer measure 1inch x 2-1/2inch inches center to center. Will this work on my trailer or is it just going to be off enough to just mess up the holes on the trailer? If the part is 2-1/4inch how is that measured? Thank you,

The mounting bracket holes can vary by manufacturer but 1" x 2-1/4" is super common. To install the T-Style Hook and Keeper Door Holder for RV or Enclosed Trailer # 37210525 you can reuse the 1" spaced holes and one set of the holes (either top or bottom) and fill in the other set and drilling out new holes to secure the new brackets.

The only trailer door holder we carry with a 2-1/2" spacing is the Plunger and Socket Trailer Door Holder # PLR62-66, which only has two holes so you'd still have to fill in the other mounting holes.
