Service Pack and Troubleshooting DVD Player on a Jensen JWM70A RV Stereo

Question:

Do i need the cords and the other piece that came with remote for dvd player. I bought rv w this stereo it and cant see how to operate dvd player and when i turn on it says disc err?

The Replacement Service Pack for Jensen RV Stereo # JEN55VR that includes the replacement remote for your Jensen RV Stereo # JWM70A also includes the 3.5MM A/V cable and the power/speaker harness. You may not need those right now, but it is a good idea to hang onto them in case you need them down the road.

If you are getting disc error, there are some troubleshooting options from the manufacturer I have included below.

- Make sure unit has power and no other CD/DVD is currently inside
- Make sure the disc is a compatible disc
- Check to make sure disc is inserted correctly.
- Verify disc is free from dirt, scratches, etc.
- Check with factory Cds.
- Check factory original CDs for compatibility warnings (due to various copy-protection, multimedia content, etc.)
