Troubleshooting A Leaking Pressure Relief Valve On A Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater

Question:

I recently installed your furrion tankless water heater in my rv and the clear water line connected to the pressure relief valve has been draining a small stream of water continuously since installation. My water pressure seems normal and around the 38 psi range, nothing close to the 65 that sets off the pressure relief valve. Any help would be appreciated, I personally think the pressure relief valve is faulty.

The pressure relief valve on your Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR could potentially be faulty from the manufacturer but before you make a warranty claim to Furrion you should test to see if the valve is correctly seated. Pull the lever on the valve and let it drain out for about 30 seconds and then release the lever back to the closed position.

If the valve continues to leak then it most likely is faulty and will need to be replaced.
