I'm so sorry to hear about your situation! From the looks of your previous crossbar order, you ordered the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack TH7602-TH7602. While we definitely have roof rack options for you to work with a Thule Hullavator # TH898, the AeroBlade Edge crossbars do not provide you the required 4-8 inches of crossbar overhang past the feet required for the Hullavator to function. This is because the AeroBlades do not extend past your rails.

Judging that you purchased AeroBlades, I assume you have flush rails on your 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The roof rack parts you need depend on if you have matte black flush rails or black and chrome flush rails.

For matte black flush rails, I recommend the following setup:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 60" # Y00426
- BaseLine Towers # Y28TR
- 2 sets of the BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06121
- Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07204

If you happen to have black/chrome flush rails, you need the following setup:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars - 60" # Y00426
- SkyLine Towers # Y53TR
- Landing Pad 18 # Y00244
- Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07204

With both of these roof racks, you can use the Thule Hullavator # TH898 on your vehicle with absolute certainty. This is because with the 60" crossbars, you have plenty of available crossbar space past the feet of the rack in order for the Hullavator to lower. Also, the Hullavator clamps work perfectly with the crossbars. With the aerodynamic design of the JetStreams, you receive a quieter ride and increased fuel efficiency. I went ahead and attached a video of the 60" crossbars installed on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee to provide you with perspective.
