Using Brophy Recessed D-Rings # RR5K to Secure Jeep to Flat Bed Trailer
Question:
I just bout a new flat bed trailer are these 5000lbs D-Rings strong enough to tie my Jeep down, I will be bolting through the frame support inleiu of a wood deck??

Each of the # RR5K D-Ring Tie-Downs has a 5000 lb capacity. Although two of the rings would have plenty of capacity for your Jeep, I would recommend using four of them, one near each corner. When you are securing a vehicle to a trailer, overkill is never bad.
To secure your Jeep to the rings, I would recommend the Erickson Car Tie Down Kit, part # 08504-05 which includes an axle strap and ratchet strap. You would need four of them.
