Parts Needed For Installing a 7-Way and Brake Controller On a 2012 Dodge Journey with 4-Way Flat
Question:
Good morning, I am looking to install a 7 pin adapter onto my 2012 Dodge Journey. I currently have an aftermarket 2 hitch and a 4 pin adapter. My new RV has a 7 pin on it. I will also want to install a brake controller for my RVs brakes. Do you have a product/products that I can make this happen? Thank you in advance

The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will connect to the 4-way you already have installed on your 2012 Dodge Journey. It provides you with the wiring you will need to run the power for the charge line as well as feed wire for the brake controller.
I recommend installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR for your Journey. This unit has a small control knob that you can mount on your dash where it is easily accessible. As the knob does not take up a lot of room it is great when you are not towing. The controller is proportional so it will automatically adjust for light and hard braking.
