Will Reese Universal 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit Fit a 2000 Ford F-350

Hi, I was wondering I bought a base rail kit with universal brackets picture provided. I was wondering if it would fit my 2000 F-350 super duty short bed single axle. If it will can you provide installation instructions.

The universal installation kit # RP30035 will fit the 2000 Ford F-350. However, you have 2 L-shaped brackets but you need 4. The other brackets in the picture closest to the bucket will not fit. To add the correct brackets you will need # 30719 for the left side and # 30720 for the right side.

The only other thing you will need is the 10-bolt hardware kit # RP58430. The old hardware should not be re-used because it is designed for a one-time installation. I have also included a link to the instructions for the universal kit for you and a link to a video showing a typical installation.
