Can Thule Wingbar Evo Roof Rack for 2018 Honda Odyssey have 35 inch Crossbar Spread
Question:
Im looking to get Thule wingbar evo cross bars for my 2018 honda odyssey. I was given a Thule cargo box that is 5ish years old that I want to put on the roof rack. The Thule website says that the Wingbar Evo has a maximum bar spread of 32 inches. The cargo box has clamps that are 35 inches apart. The roof rails have more than enough space for a 35 inch bar spread. Why wont the Wingbar EVO bars spread farther than 32 inches? Could I install the box anyway if there is physical room to do so?

The Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack part numbers # TH711520 and # TH710401 that fits your 2018 Honda Odyssey can easily be spread at 35 inches to match the mounting hardware of your cargo box. The max spread you can use will be the length of your rails. There's no reason this wouldn't work.
