Tube Thickness Of The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack
Question:
Hi, the specs on the product description state outer tube diameter of 2-3/16inch and inner tube diameter of 1-15/16. However in the etrailer video, the presenter stated the outer tube diameter is 2-1/4inch and the inner tube diameter is 2. What is the correct diameter for both the outer tube and inner tube? I ask b/c that difference is important to this product fitting or not since I have an older trailer and grinding steel wouldnt be fun. Thanks!

I went out to the warehouse and measured the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3555 with a digital caliper and got the same measurements as what is written in the product description. Randy should have used a caliper instead of a tape measure to take away any guesswork on the dimensions.
