Weight of Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for 2013-2020 Ram Trucks with Factory Puck System
Question:
How much does this hitch weigh? Can 1 person move it around?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C64BR weighs in at about 185 lbs altogether. You can separate the legs and head to cut that weight in half to help make it easier but you'll still be dealing with about 90 lbs each - so it's definitely possible for 1 person to move around but it won't be a walk in the park. The base of this system is designed to fit the Ram OEM puck system from the factory.
If you want to make things easier you can use the Demco 5th Wheel Lifting Bracket # DM6100 which inserts into the 5th wheel hitch jaws and then you can link this to a pully system to lift the hitch out of your truck if that's something you're interested in doing.
