Troubleshooting Marker Light Not Working on Trailer
Question:
my marker lights are on plastic fenders.they have two plugs on backside.passenger side dont work.could you troubleshoot this for me,also could I splice into rear marker light 3 cluster or splice into passenger taillight?

There are only a few things you can check to troubleshoot this. One would be the ground wire. Make sure the ground wire is secure. The other is the power. You can use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to check the wire for power. If there is no power then you probably have a short in the wire that needs to be repaired.
The other possibility is that the light itself is dead and needs to be replaced. You could use the # 328-K-51 you looked at for a replacement. The light can be spliced in anywhere on the running light circuit, which is typically going to be the brown wire.
