I have a 2021 Porsche Macan s with factory installed tow package. Do I need an electric brake controller or is a controller part of the package installed?

You will need a trailer brake controller to use any electric brakes on your trailer. The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 is going to be the easiest trailer brake controller for you to use. It plugs into the 7-way on your 2021 Porsche Macan s and allows you to use your smart phone as the controller. It will work on trailers with 1 or 2 axles.
