Since you mentioned you're not getting 12v power to your Dutton-Lanison StrongArm power winch like the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch w/ Remote # DL25532, you may want to start by checking the battery, and the connection of the wiring harness to the battery. Ensure that the red connector at the end of the wiring harness is securely snapped into the winch, and that all four wires going into this connection is clean and secure.
If this isn't solving your problem, check the entire length of wire for breaks and frays, and, you'll also want to check for a faulty circuit breaker by temporally removing it from the system. Once you confirm that you are getting 12v to the relays inside the winch, we can proceed to other troubleshooting steps.
If you're able to provide a more detailed diagnosis of what's going on, as well as the model number for your winch, it will help greatly, and I'd be happy to assist you further.
