Recommended Suspension Upgrade on 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 for Towing/Hauling

Question:

I’m looking for a starting point toward better suspension and roll control of my 2017 Silverado Z71 6.2 LTZ. I’m planning on towing a travel trailer probably around 25’, no more than 7000 lbs. I have noticed the rear drifting with a load in the bed. I replaced the shocks with Bilstein 5100’s a couple years ago. What would you recommend starting with? Springs, sway bars, etc.? And what make/model? Thanks!

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS54FR is an excellent dual purpose system for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. It works to not only reduce sag/squat while towing but also helps with body roll and sway. This system installs easily without any modifications and it can be adjusted for your exact load. This will be a great starting point for your vehicle and likely the last thing you need to buy to correct the ride while towing or hauling.

Please note, the system does not fit models with MagneRide Suspension.
