Should Tow Vehicle Tires be Inflated to Max PSI for Towing 15K Toy Hauler
Question:
Towing 15,000 lb loaded 42 foot toy hauler. Should I charge my duals to the 80 psi cold pressure as stated on the tire sidewall?

We always recommend running trailer tires at the rated cold PSI number found on the sidewall. Vehicle tires are a little different though because they are designed more around comfort than utility like trailer tires. You'll want to check the PSI rating on your driver's side door jamb as well as your owner's manual to make sure you've got your tires inflated properly on your tow vehicle.
If you're having performance issues or seeing an increase in sag when your tires are inflated properly then what you likely need is a weight distribution like the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW2003 to level out your system. This has a tongue weight range of 1,500 lbs - 2,000 lbs, comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball, and a shank that fits 2-1/2" hitch receivers. Attached is a review video for you to check out.
