How to Determine the Correct SolidStep RV Steps for a Heartland Fuel 250 Travel Trailer

I have a Heartland Fuel 250. I would like to change the steps to solid step The door has a strut that keeps the door from opening into the awning. What steps do I need

Expert Reply:
The correct Lippert SolidStep will depend on your door width and entry height. For example the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC733931 fits doorways 25" - 28-7/8" wide and entry heights 22" - 28" tall.
This unfortunately is not information we have available from your travel trailer information, you will need to take these measurements yourself to determine the correct steps. You can then use these measurements to find the correct steps or provide me with the measurements and I can send you the information to the correct steps.
The strut can potentially be in the way depending on its placement. We have had some customers remove their strut and install a Replacement Controlled Motion Hinge for RV Entry Door # LC95VR to control the motion on their doors.
