Can The Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302043 Be Mounted on Either Rear Door?

Will this rack fit on the drivers door, or is it only made to fit the passenger door? Item # TH302043

The Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack # TH302043 really only makes sense to use on the passenger side door of your 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500. With it mounted on this door you will be able to open your doors as opposed to it being on the drivers door. With it on the drivers door you would have to remove the bikes and reposition the carrier to open the passenger side door far enough to open the drivers door.

I did reach out to Thule and they confirmed that it needs to be mounted on the passenger side door as per the instructions.
