According to my research, you either have a factory roof rack on your 2021Tesla Model Y or a bare roof. If you happen to have a factory roof rack, the Yakima GrandTour 16 # YA74FR and the GrandTour 18 # YA84FR fit your roof as long as your crossbars do not exceed 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall. I recommend measuring your crossbars to make sure they fit within these parameters.

Also, in order to determine whether you can fully open your rear hatch with the box installed, I suggest measuring your front crossbar from the furthest forward position to the line where your trunk and roof meet. As long as this length is at least 48" for the # YA74FR and 50-3/4" for the # YA84FR, you have enough length. I went ahead and attached a photo that shows how to conduct this measurement.

If you find that you need a different option to open the trunk, I recommend the Thule Pulse - 16 Cu Ft. # TH615. This box fits crossbars up to 3-5/16" wide x 1-1/2" tall and only requires 46-3/8" of length from the front crossbar to the line where the trunk/roof meet to fully open the trunk.

For a naked roof, a great crossbar system to use with all the boxes mentioned is the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. The Monkey Bars are compatible with all these boxes and you can easily mount the crossbar in a forward position to give you maximum length for hatch clearance on your roof. To protect your Monkey Bars from theft, I suggest the etrailer cable lock # e98891 along with the SeaSucker window cable anchor # 298-BA0010. I attached a great video that highlights the impressive strength of SeaSucker vacuum cups.
