Rails that Fit the Reese 30099 on a 2016 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel

Question:

What mounting bracket do i use for the 2016 ecodiesel ?? It’s the Reese 30099 and I have the 6-1/2 ft bed.

I went ahead and reached out to my tech at Reese, and he confirmed that the rails you need for your hitch on your 2016 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel model is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50142-58. It is important to note, though that the 30099 is just the head unit (or top section) of the hitch. You also need to have legs or a slider at the bottom of the head in order to attach the head to the rails.
