Your Town and Country would require a taillight converter in order for the trailer lights to function correctly. The trailer wiring combines the right and left directional and brake light signals onto one circuit, one for each side of the trailer. The vehicle carries the brake light and directional signals on separate circuits, therefore simply tapping a 4 pole connector into the taillight circuits would leave your trailer without brake lights.
We offer a T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118376 that would simply plug into the wiring behind the drivers side taillight assembly. No hunting for the correct wire or cutting and splicing required.
