The Stromberg jack part # JET-2500 is a solid choice that will get the job done. It's not the fastest jack on the market but it will save your Dad's shoulder. If you wanted something that works really quickly though the Phoenix part # UF38-944040 basically can fully extend and retract with weight on it in 9.5 seconds. The Stromberg might take a minute or two.
