5th Wheel Hitch Options for Gooseneck Hitches Inside a Recessed Box

Yes, we do have 5th wheel hitches that attach to recessed balls on flatbeds. We have two options depending on what type of gooseneck you have on your 2019 Ram 3500. The first is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs item # DM8550046. The main requirement is that the top of the gooseneck ball must be 13/16" or closer to the top of the truck bed for the hitch to install and that it sits above the recessed box. The base that sits on top of your truck bed is 22" long x 22" wide. I have attached a diagram with the dimensions so you can confirm the Demco Recon can fit your truck.
The second option only works if you have B&W's Turnover Ball System. It is the B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter item # BWRVK3050. This adapter converts your B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch for flatbed trucks. Your recessed box must be a minimum of 18" x 18" and no bigger than 4" deep.
Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # RP83002 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
