Troubleshooting Comm Error On Lippert Ground Control 3.0

Question:

Plugged in my Heartland Bighorn to turn on the refrigerator. I get a message Comm error Check wiring. What do I do.

The reason you're getting a "COMM ERROR" on your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC358590 indicates that the communication between the controller and the touchpad has been lost.

What you're going to want to is check your wiring and verify that everything is good. You will need to check your harness to ensure it is connected properly and there is no damage or corrosion.

If it all looks good, I recommend getting a new control module # LC304136.
