I took a look at the Greystone RV Induction Cooktop w/ Skillet and Tongs # GR57FR, and based off of my research, that is normal and is apart of a built in child safety feature.
After pressing “child lock”, when the buzzer sounds when the unit is plugged in, the child lock light will go out, and the power light will turn on; the nixie tube will display “- - - -” and the induction cooker will boot into standby mode.
This safety feature is just designed to ensure a child cannot operate the unit while plugged in.
