Availability of an Adjustable Ball Mount with Sway Control Bracket

Question:

A couple months ago I purchased the C45900 adjustable ballmount. I need to add anti-sway to my rig 30 foot travel trailer behind a f250 superduty. There doesnt seem to be a bracket that can be added to the C45900 to accommodate the anti-sway ball that must mount at the trailer hitch C45900. What do you suggest?

I am not sure how much your trailer weighs but if it happens to be under 6,000 pounds you could use adjustable ball mount with anti-sway bracket, # 7390. It is currently the only adjustable ball mount we carry that also has a sway control bracket built in.

If that ball mount will not work for you then you will need to go with a weight distribution system with sway control. In order to determine the best option for you I would need to know the total tongue weight of the trailer. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow and then adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

I have included a link to our FAQ articles on weight distribution and determining tongue weight.
