Recharging Coolant System for Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner
Question:
If I order this and it doesn’t work/fit can it be returned for full refund. Also does it come with everything ready to use. Like Freon. And can Freon be added to it when it gets low. That’s all that is wrong with mine but it is a closed unit. It still works it’s just not getting cold

From the manufacturer, the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor, # ACCAR150 is not a unit intended to have its coolant/refrigerant system recharged. That being stated, it may be possible for a professional technician with the proper equipment to do it, but the manufacturer has stated they do not recommend it.
This AC unit is designed to replace an existing Carrier air conditioner unit using the included adapter wiring kit. This kit ensures that the AC works seamlessly with your existing, in-good-working-order Carrier air distribution box and thermostat.
