Replacing a 6-Pin Vehicle Side Connector With a 7-Way Blade Connector  

Question:

I brought a 2003 ford explorer and it come with a activator drawtite at the rear of the truck it has a 6 pin plug in need to change it to a 7 pin plug how do I wire it?and can the system work wit the 7 pin plug?the first picture is the one on the truck the second picture is the one I need to put on.thank you

I have included images below of the 6-Pin # PK11609 and the 7-Blade # C58155 connectors that you will be wiring. I do recommend using the positions rather than trying to go off the wiring colors as the colors can vary. You can use a Test Light # PTW2993 to verify the wires are in the correct places on your current 6-pin connector.
