Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System for a Cargo Trailer
Question:
I need a Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control hitch for a 2020 Chevy silverado 1500 Vehicle and trailer max 17800lbs max trailer 11900lbs max tongue weight 1190lbs Will be pulling a cargo trailer max cargo 6590lbs, empty trailer weight 3400lbs, GRWR 9990lbs Trailer will have appx 4000lbs car inside. I was thinking of the Reese RP66084 hitch. What would recommend? Thank you

I agree, the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control item # RP66084 you were looking at would be a great system to use with your trailer. If you're going to be pulling around 4,000 lbs and your trailer weighs 3,400 lbs then this would put your tongue weight between 740 lbs and 1,100 lbs. The Reese Strait-line system has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs- 1,200 lbs. This would give you plenty of capacity and not be too much to cause a stiff ridged ride.
