For a great brake controller for your 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne Wagon, I recommend the Curt Echo # C51180. Not only is the Curt Echo smart phone controllable, it has a super easy plug-and-play installation into your 7-way plug. While the vast majority of brake controllers require a plug-in harness that requires additional splicing, you will not have this headache with the Echo. On top of all that, it is completely assembled in the U.S.A.
In order to install a brake controller on your vehicle, you need to have a 4-way wiring harness and a 7-way harness installed already.
For the 4-way, I recommend the Tekonsha Universal 4-way # 119250KIT. With this harness, the installation will not require splicing into your current wiring. The converter box on this harness is a better quality than boxes that come on Curt and Hopkins harnesses.
As far as the 7-way, you need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7. This harness completes the full prep that allows for full brake controller functionality with your Biscayne.
I went ahead and attached some helpful videos for you to check out.
