The best way to determine what seals would work for you is to match your existing seals based on their part number. Please refer to the photo provided that shows the typical location for the part number on both grease seals and bearings.
In case you cannot locate the existing part numbers, the attached drawing also shows the places to measure on the spindle to make certain you match the seals you need. Bearings and seals can vary due to the size of the spindle on your 5200 lb axle, so it is important to make sure we match the correct part number or take an exact measurement of the spindle.
It is not reliable to measure the old seals as they often change shape with age and may be slightly deformed when removed from your spindles. Measuring the spindle is a better method. A precision digital caliper is required to take accurate measurements. I have linked you to an FAQ article that shows how to replace the bearings and seals on a trailer hub.
An axle manufactured by Dexter would have their name on the hub. If you are not sure who made the axle, you may want to call the trailer manufacturer and see if they can provide you with that information. If you can determine that the axle is manufactured by Dexter, I would recommend bearing kit part # BK3-300. This would include the inner and outer bearings and the 2-1/4 inch seals. If you have an axle made by someone other than Dexter and your measurement for the seal is 2-1/8 inch, then bearing kit part # BK3-310 would work. I have linked you to our product page for bearing kits which also has a chart that shows the kit numbers and the component numbers in the kit.
