Swagman Quad 2+2 vs Saris Freedom 4 Bike Racks
Question:
I am trying to compare the Saris Freedom to the Swagman Quad 2+2. Which in your opinion is better built and has better features?

Expert Reply:
I like the Swagman Quad 2+2 # S64FR over the Saris Freedom # SA4414B because it comes with bike and rack locks plus the ratcheting hooks will be easier and quicker to secure your bikes than the cradle/strap system used on the Saris. The Swagman weighs in at 33 lbs heavier but the tradeoff is that the 2 outermost trays are removeable for a shorter/lighter bike rack if you're only going to be hauling around 1 or 2 bikes for a trip.
Attached are review videos of each on a Honda Odyssey so you can compare them that way as well.
