Installation of CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting for Bunk Boards

Question:

Concerning size of staples for boat trailer bunk boards. Jason S. replied to use 1/2inch staples. He did not inform if this was width or depth. I just purchased some 1/4inch crown x 5/8inch deep staples. Are these adequate?? And do i need to use a carpet adhesive on the top of the runner boards? thanks for the help.

Yes, the hardware you purchased is adequate and there is not a need to use adhesive as long you wrap the CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting, # CE11349 around the bunk board securely and use sufficient amount of staples.
