Kuat Bike Rack Recommendations for Bike with 47.5 Inch Wheelbase
Question:
I really like a lot about the Kuat Sherpa hitch rack. The specs say it is for up to 47 wheelbase bikes. My Trek 29er is 47.5. Will the rack safely/securely hold my bike? Thanks.

The max wheelbase for the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G is 47". Will something larger sit on the rack? Yes, but it won't fit properly so I can't really recommend going that route.
If you like the design and thought that Kuat put into the Sherpa 2.0 then I recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA22B which has a lot of the same features but can fit with a wheelbase up to 50" and can accommodate up to 60 lb bikes as opposed to the 40 lb limit of the Sherpa 2.0.
For something a bit more cost-effective you can go with the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR which has similar specs and comes with a bike lock so you just need part # HL2 to lock the rack to your Accord.
