P2 Brake Controller And Wiring Harness Compatibility With 2013 Dodge Ram 1500

I read your answer to some elses question on this topic, but dont know if that is current or not. I read in a forum that the wiring is different than previous models. Please read this information at Can you ell me whether I should disregard the warning or you have updated your wiring to match, or do I still have a problem if I try to install your braking system? I would like to buy your product if I can be sure that the concern stated in the link is now unfounded. Thanks,

There were issues with the brake control wiring for the 2013 Dodge Ram trucks as a result of a new wiring system in the vehicle. However, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller, part # 90885, along with the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers, part # 3023-P is a fit for your vehicle. If an aftermarket brake controller is installed without the 3023-P adapter, severe damage to the vehicle electrical system or electrical components can occur. I have linked you to an FAQ article explaining the installation of a brake controller on a 2013 Dodge Ram.
