Recommended Boondocking Tires for Rockwood A194HW
Question:
In general the RV would sit 18 miles off-road. Which means pulling it off-road, but we occasionally pull it for long haul from Northern Arizona to Southern California. The roads can be really hot. We were hoping for something 8 ply. Is that not possible? The RV is a Rockwood A194HW.

If you have off-roading in mind then a bias ply tire will suite you best as they are better at holding up to off-road abuse without punctures. The Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM1ST79 is a great option for this with 8 ply, load range d rating. These tires also have a 81 mph so they will be good for long highway trips as well.
