First, if your 2012 Lexus RX has a sun roof there are no cargo boxes that will fit. On the RX 350 or 450 the largest box you can use is the Thule Motion L, # TH629706, and not have rear hatch interference. The XL size # TH629806 will fit the roof rack but there will be hatch interference.
