Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank For 3" Ford Receiver Without Using a Reducer

Greetings, I have. 2022 Ford F-350 and the truck has a 3” receiver. I really prefer not to use reduction adaptors but I am having issues with finding options. I primary have a camper that has 1200-1300 tongue weight. I like this product but it also suggest a minimum tongue weight of 1600lbs. Will this negatively impact towing? I currently have a husky centerline WD hitch. I think it is listed up to 12k pounds. It seems like a good hitch but the camper, hitch and truck are all new to me. Looking for the best/safest set up. Thanks

The Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # GY92RR is currently going to be our only shank that fits a 3" receiver on your 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty. The tongue weight rating of 1,600lbs - 2,400lbs is the ideal weight rating for the torsion system to operate properly. You can still use it with less tongue weight, the system will just not operate as it was designed for the higher weight rating.
